Abstract or summary

Determine whether there was statistical difference between the two groups in these parameters. The Mindray DC 70 2021 model year of the equipment was used for liver ultrasounds as one of the instrumental research approaches. Patients are divided into 2 groups with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and without non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Results: In our cohort, no statistically significant differences were observed in HbA1c levels, estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), or lipid profiles between individuals with and without NAFLD. However, body mass index (BMI) differed significantly; patients with NAFLD had substantially higher BMI values (P < 0.005), indicating a strong association between obesity and hepatic steatosis Conclusion: While our study did not establish a statistically significant association between NAFLD and CKD in patients with T2DM, the findings highlight the importance of obesity as a contributing factor to NAFLD in this population.
